Event times can change in case of unavoidable circumstances. If such a thing occurs, the new time and date will be provided in the shortest possible duration.

Due to the way the DEVs created the mail system, members will have to be in-game friends with the event master for a period of 72 hours before they can receive gifts from them (via-mail). This applies to prize events, especially, since the gifts can be from the official FFXIV store.

Event Rules and Basic Information

HERO Trivia

The LUMBERCHKING is a mighty king, his rule is peaceful and his enemies few. While the little Lumberchkin can indeed cause chaos at times, his days are mostly spent tending to their various needs and requests while lounging atop Cluckpenter’s Nest. As such he often lacks stimulation and his mind can only take so much of the easy life of Carpenternia before he must wander the lands once again. As such often calls on us for a round of HERO Trivia! It is a simple event where questions are asked and you provide the answers. The winner gets a special prize!

Rules and Event Progress

The event will begin with providing the location in the game world. There will be a 5-minute waiting period afterward to allow all players to arrive (this may be extended if someone specifically asks). Once everyone has gathered, the event will begin. There will be 20 questions in the main round. The LUMBERCHKING will ask them one by one at the location using the /say command. Players will answer using the /tell command. The fastest correct answer will earn 1 point to the player that gave it. Each question will have a time limit of 1 minute. After all the questions have been asked, the player with the most points will be declared the winner and will receive the special prize! If there is a tie, the remaining tied players will advance to a final round consisting of 5 additional questions. The questions will be random and focused on general knowledge and common topics. You won’t be able to prepare in advance!

The LUMBERCHKIN Hunt

Once again Sabrina Carpenter brings turmoil to the LUMBERCHKIN race. Another argument at a concert, another treasure stolen, another hunt ordered! Catch that devilish Rogue LUMBERCHKIN and retrieve the Stolen Treasure! A fairly simple Prize Event where participants have to use some detective work to locate the hidden Rogue LUMBERCHKIN. The winner gets a special prize!

Approximately 10 minutes before the event starts, we will post an announcement in FC chat. Those interested in joining should signal their participation by typing +. It is a fairly simple event. Around 5 minutes before the actual event starts, Griff Hexe will be unavoidably found in a circumstance which makes him leave the game. When it's time, an officer will provide you with a riddle and start off the event. Participants must solve the riddle and by doing that guess which in-game zone and specific location contains the hidden Rogue LUMBERCHKIN. The objective of the event is simple, find the hidden Rogue LUMBERCHKIN and /poke it. Only then will the mission be completed. The first to do so, wins The Stolen Treasure. In the case that no one solves the riddle the basic zone will be provided. Those who solve it therefore have a major advantage.

Our own Whip Cream brings his unique flair to special events that encompass certain festivals and celebrations. Due to the nature of these events there are no official rules or progress to post. Just expect them and enjoy the chaos when they arrive!

Recruitment Drive

Running a FC takes work and quite a good part of it has to do with getting new members. While we intend to limit the FC to a stable number and run a tightly knit community, we at times have to take certain measures to keep that active Member count. In such cases, the Recruitment Drive becomes active! This Event is meant for the improvement and expansion of the FC. While there are no prizes, everyone can join in the madness that recruiting new members brings. And trust me, it usually is quite mad.

We fly around looking for fresh meat and try to persuade them to join our FC by any means necessary... and I do mean any. The event lasts as long as we want it to and there are no requirements, or special rules, it's more about having fun and potentially increasing our numbers. WARNING! If you're worried about getting reported... I mean just ... you've been warned.

The Golden Lottery

The Golden Lottery is a special event where there is no "real" participation and activity. The aim is to have our Golden Gryphon Maximillian lay a golden egg which contains some special prizes for a certain, lucky Member.

Rules and Event Progress

At the start of each month, The Golden Lottery Begins! Each "Member" and "Officer" gets 1 Golden Feather and so the collection challenge begins. Participating in prize events and in some cases winning certain events awards more Golden Feathers, each new one increasing your chances of being picked as the lucky winner. At the end of the month, the Golden Feathers are pulled together and the lucky prize winner is randomly chosen, receiving the current Golden Lottery prize! Prizes change each month.

SAUCY SAUCER

Time to hit the Casino! Welcome to SAUCY SAUCER, where we will gamble away our life savings and earn some MGP! Join us for some friendly fun and competition in The Golden Saucer and increase your MGP points, giving you access to many a prize!

Rules and Event Progress

We gather in The Golden Saucer and try our luck and GATEs and Chocobo Races. For this event the FC action "Jackpot II" will be active, boosting our MGP earnings by 10%! Due to the nature of this event, several unlocks are necessary, all of which are beginner friendly and quite fast to get. First of, you must unlock The Golden Saucer itself - the LvL 15 quest "It Could Happen to You" in Ul'dah will do the trick! After reaching The Golden Saucer have a look around. You should do the basic introductory quest as well as unlock the Chocobo Races. GATEs need no special unlock, but something additional to consider is unlocking Triple Triad, both for the downtime in this event and Triple SHOWDOWN. For the SAUCY SAUCER event itself we do GATEs when they spawn and Chocobo Races / Triple Triad in between the waits. Other than that it's just hanging out and having fun. Let's gamble!

WINGS of WAR

Get your PvP on! The WINGS of WAR is a PvP event where we gather and kick ass (or indeed get our asses kicked) together! Many a challenge awaits, a breather from the usual PvE content most of us are used to in FFXIV. The prizes are not that bad either!

Rules and Event Progress

There are some requirements but nothing major. First of you need to have a job at lvl 30 and have the next appropriate soul crystal (Lancer - DRAGOON, etc.). Next, please unlock the Wolves Den PvP Area which is done by completing a LvL 30 quest called A Pup No Longer. After gaining access to the area, you just need to complete the required mini quest to unlock the mode we will be playing. Anyone can join! We're all new to PvP and will not expect nor berate you regarding a "perfect" performance. The type of PvP content will change to keep things more interesting. As it does depend on the number of members participating it will be hard to predict which PvP content we will do. We will decide on the day but our interest is to cover all of it.

Triple SHOWDOWN

Choose your cards, build your deck and let's play some Triple Triad! The tournaments are here and the prizes have been set. Have you got the brains and guile to come out on top? Then prove your worth and win the mystery prize! Let's Yu-Gi-Oh this shit up! Our own Triple Triad Event!

Rules and Event Progress

To join there is no special requirement - you just have to unlock the actual Triple Triad game and get your first deck, which can be accomplished by completing the appropriate short quest in The Golden Saucer. The event is held in our own FC House. The participating players compete against each other, gathering wins along the way. The participant with the most wins at the end of the tournament wins the prize and fights a special SHOWDOWN round with the event leader. If that round is won, the winner gets an additional special prize of 5 x Golden Feather, Increasing their chance in The Golden Lottery by a great deal. Each tournament will have it's own rules about the Deck Composition as well as the match modifiers. These will be decided for each Triple SHOWDOWN event and should spice things up a great deal!
